Luke Milner
CEO, Energy Transition, egg Group
Luke is the Chief Executive Officer of Liberty Global’s energy transition portfolio, egg Group.
He has 20+ years of executive experience in infrastructure and energy business having operated internationally and across Finance, Corporate Development, Strategy, Operations, Regulatory and Commercial as well as Investor Relations.
Luke joined Liberty Global in 2016, and has fulfilled senior finance positions across Virgin Media and Liberty Global. He has shaped Liberty Global’s energy transition portfolio strategy and his strong financial acumen and strategic leadership helped lay the groundwork for the company’s continued expansion where in 2023, Luke stepped into the role of CEO of the energy transition portfolio.
Prior to joining Liberty Global, Luke spent nine years in Balfour Beatty, the FTSE listed infrastructure business in various executive roles.

Ilesh Patel
CCO Energy Transition, egg Group
Ilesh Patel is the CCO of Liberty Global’s energy transition portfolio, egg Group.
He has a 27-year career as an internationally-recognised expert in the energy industry advising utilities, regulators, government, investors and lenders on strategy, policy, investment, and commercial issues.
Ilesh is a former Partner at Baringa Partners, a global management consultancy, where he played a pivotal role in investments in low-carbon projects and energy businesses in the energy transition, including over 100 GW of renewable energy projects, new energy technologies, distributed energy and energy services across Europe, Asia, UAE, Australia and the USA.
Prior to this, Ilesh held senior positions with Infosys and Caminus Energy where he was a key advisor on the liberalisation and privatisation of power and gas markets globally working for governments and regulators and the transformation of global energy trading and risk management capabilities for energy trading companies.
