AtlasEdge was launched by Liberty Global and Digital Bridge in 2021 to create a scalable, European Edge data centre business that brings applications and content closer to the ‘Edge’ of the network via an extensive network of facilities located near to consumer and enterprise end-users. The company aims to serve the growing demand from cloud providers, streaming services and enterprises for high-performance, scalable and secure facilities through which they can distribute low-latency applications and services such as 5G, gaming, IOT and edge computing.

Believ

Believ, formerly Liberty Charge, provides the under-the-pavement power and communications infrastructure necessary to build on-street electric vehicle charging points in residential areas. Its mission is to create the UK’s most reliable electric vehicle charging network, which anyone can use safely and easily. The 50/50 JV between Liberty Global Ventures and Zouk Capital leverages Virgin Media’s connectivity network, infrastructure deployment capabilities and trusted relationships with local authorities.

Egg

Active since 2010 and acquired by Liberty Global in 2020, and the new egg brand was launched in 2022. egg is a renewable energy solution provider offering consumers and businesses a range of de-carbonising technologies, including electric vehicle charging, solar power, and battery storage.

nexfibre

nexfibre is a next-generation broadband company, on a mission to deliver high-speed fibre to the home (FTTH) to millions across the U.K. The joint venture was announced in 2022 in partnership with Liberty Global, Telefonica, and InfraVia Capital, with VMO2 confirmed as the  anchor tenant. nexfibre will construct and operate a wholesale FTTH broadband network of up to 7 million premises that will not overlap with VMO2’s existing network
