The World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos has been focussed on #AI this week, and our CEO, Mike Fries, joined the conversation in a wide-ranging interview with CNBC’s Squawkbox.
Mike said AI will be a “game-changer” for customers and the energy efficiency of our networks – and it will make our people more productive. He added: “We don’t have to be first, but we do have to be fast” in adopting the new technology. Questioned about Liberty Global’s core business, Mike said the “gold” was in our networks, with our investments in fibre and 5G driving innovation and fuelling growth.
He also mentioned our strategic update to investors coming up on our Q4 earnings call in February.
