Rag Lane Solar Farm
Rag Lane is a solar energy farm in Gloucestershire estimated to deliver up to 49.9 MWp of clean electricity — enough to power around 15,000 homes annually. Located two kilometres west of Wickwar, at Newlands Farm (GL12 8LD), the site will span approximately 26 hectares, making a significant contribution to the UK’s net zero targets.

Ilesh Patel
CCO Energy Transition, egg Group
Ilesh Patel is the CCO of Liberty Global’s energy transition portfolio, egg Group.
He has a 27-year career as an internationally-recognised expert in the energy industry advising utilities, regulators, government, investors and lenders on strategy, policy, investment, and commercial issues.
Ilesh is a former Partner at Baringa Partners, a global management consultancy, where he played a pivotal role in investments in low-carbon projects and energy businesses in the energy transition, including over 100 GW of renewable energy projects, new energy technologies, distributed energy and energy services across Europe, Asia, UAE, Australia and the USA.
Prior to this, Ilesh held senior positions with Infosys and Caminus Energy where he was a key advisor on the liberalisation and privatisation of power and gas markets globally working for governments and regulators and the transformation of global energy trading and risk management capabilities for energy trading companies.
