Amy Blair, SVP and Chief People Officer at Liberty Global, has been announced as the recipient of the WICT Network Woman of the Year – Operator award for 2024. Woman of the Year is The WICT Network’s highest individual accolade, presented to members who embody its mission to develop women leaders who transform the industry.

Amy has been recognized for achieving top industry status and demonstrating a strong resolve to help others along their path. She and other honorees will be presented their awards at an event in October.

Amy has over 30 years of experience in the cable industry and has held various leadership roles within The WICT Network, where she guided the launch of its first two chapters outside of the US, in the UK and Europe. She has previously been recognized as Woman of the Year by the WICT Rocky Mountain Chapter.

Amy said: “I have been a proud member of The WICT Network throughout my career and an active supporter of its mission to support and celebrate women in our industry.  It is an honor to be recognized in this way and I congratulate the other remarkable women who have been recognized alongside me.”

The WICT Network also announced Johnita P. Due, EVP, Integrity and Inclusion, CNN Worldwide, with its Woman of the Year – Programmer award; and Sandy Howe, Board Director, ATX Networks, with its Woman of the Year – Technology award.
