Jeff Dodds is the Chief Executive Officer of Formula E, the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship and the world’s leading all-electric motorsport series. Formula E was the first global sport to achieve B Corp certification and is recognised globally for combining elite-level sporting performance with a commitment to sustainability. Since Jeff joined in 2023, the Championship has continued to grow rapidly and now has a global fanbase of more than 400 million.
Prior to joining Formula E in June 2023, Jeff was Chief Operating Officer at Virgin Media O2, one of the UK’s largest and best-known media and telecommunications businesses. He spent more than ten years with the company, including as the Chief Marketing Officer. Jeff has also lived and worked in the Netherlands as Chief Executive Officer of Tele2 Netherlands and previously held senior marketing roles at Callaway Golf and Honda.
In 2026, Jeff became Chair of The Marketing Society, having previously served as Chair of the global disability equality organisation. The Valuable 500 and as a Non-Executive Director at the UK Government’s Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities. In 2025, following Formula E’s commitment to join the UN-led Energy Compact initiative, Jeff also became a UN Member Envoy of the Energy Global Compact Initiative, supporting its ambition to accelerate the global transition to clean and sustainable energy.
Jeff holds an MBA and an MSc in International Marketing and has been awarded an honorary Doctorate in Business. He lives in the UK with his wife, Mary, and their two sons, Henry and Jonathan.
