JOB PURPOSE
The Senior Manager, ESG Reporting serves as the Group’s strategic lead for the implementation of CSRD and other global ESG disclosure requirements. This role drives the end‑to‑end readiness program, including legislation oversight, ESRS gap assessments, double materiality, EU Taxonomy preparation, governance design, KPI development, internal control integration, and reporting process upgrades. The role ensures the Group builds a robust, audit‑ready reporting environment for CSRD and other compliance frameworks, and supports senior leadership with critical regulatory insights.
KEY DELIVERABLES
- Group CSRD/ESRS, CSDDD and EU Taxonomy implementation roadmap and progress reporting.
- Double Materiality Assessment outputs with governance‑approved documentation.
- Updated ESG Reporting Policies, methodologies, controls, and templates aligned with ESRS.
- CSRD-compliant governance frameworks, KPI definitions, and narrative disclosure structures.
- Materials for CSRD steering committees, ELT updates, and Audit Committees.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Regulatory Alignment & Impact Analysis
- With the help of expert advice, interpret new ESRS/CSRD requirements and lead organization‑wide impact assessments.
- Maintain regulatory horizon scanning and coordinate external advisory engagements.
CSRD Workstream Leadership
- Lead cross‑functional CSRD programs including data, processes, systems, and disclosures.
- Design and implement CSRD‑aligned KPIs, methodologies, and internal controls.
- Ensure consistent rollout across all relevant subsidiaries.
- Support due diligence and consolidation activities to ensure CSRD readiness for any entity changes within the business
Governance & Controls
- Define reporting controls, approval workflows, and audit trail requirements.
- Partner with Internal Audit and Risk & Compliance on control design and testing.
- Ensure integration of CSRD into enterprise risk management and strategy disclosures.
Stakeholder & Senior Leadership Engagement
- Prepare materials for governance councils and Audit Committees.
- Deliver targeted CSRD training for business units and reporting teams.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Knowledge & Experience:
- 7–10 years in ESG or financial reporting, regulatory programs, audit, or risk.
- Experience and deep understanding of CSRD/ESRS, EU Taxonomy, GHG Protocol, and sustainability frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead multi‑workstream transformation programs.
- Excellent communication and policy‑interpretation skills; strong senior‑level influencing capability.
