We are building Liberty Blume’s technology function from the ground up: a Google Cloud-first platform organisation with AI embedded at its core. The graduates who join this scheme will work alongside that buildout rather than observe it from the sidelines.

This is not a rotation program designed to give you a flavour of different jobs. It is a structured two-year technical scheme built to produce engineers who understand business context, can operate in AI-native environments, and are ready to contribute meaningfully from day one. We have four places, and we are looking for people who are technically sharp, intellectually curious and willing to work in ambiguity.

Applications for our 2027 Liberty Blume Technology Scheme are now open.

What to expect

Year one is three rotations of roughly four months each across the Technology supplementary functions. The purpose is not job-shadowing: you own deliverables in every rotation.

  • Product and Delivery: embedded with our product team on our internal and external products, learning how technical decisions translate into product outcomes.
  • Tech PMO: contributing to resource and delivery tracking across our engineering portfolio, and understanding how technology investment is governed, tracked and reported.
  • Tech Strategy: supporting architecture review, vendor assessment and strategic initiatives.

Year two is a full year embedded in our central Engineering team. You will contribute to production codebases and to AI platform development on Google Cloud Platform, and by the end of the year you will be operating as a junior software engineer with real responsibilities.

Apply if you

  • Have, or are completing, a degree in a STEM subject, with Computer Science or Engineering preferred
  • Can show genuine curiosity about how technology systems work, beyond surface-level interest
  • Are comfortable working with incomplete information and iterating toward a solution
  • Have some exposure to programming, scripting or data analysis
  • Are interested in where AI, cloud infrastructure and real business problems meet, and want to understand the full stack from business context to production deployment
