VTR Group

Our primary operation in Latin America, VTR GlobalCom SpA (VTR) is Chile’s largest multi-channel television provider, and a leading provider of broadband internet and residential voice services. VTR provides video, broadband internet, and traditional circuit-switched & digital (VoIP) telephony services to 2.8 million service subscribers (RGUs) represented by 1.4 million customers as of March 31, 2017.

VTR’s customers are located in Santiago, Chile’s largest city, the large regional cities of Iquique, Antofagasta, Concepción, Viña del Mar, Valparaiso, and Rancagua, and smaller cities across Chile. Its cable network is 83% upgraded to two-way capability, with 87% of cable homes passed served by a network with a bandwidth of at least 750 MHz.

VTR also offers a range of broadband communications services to business customers in its core communities within Santiago and its core metropolitan networks outside of Santiago.
